Through high school, she continued tutoring students in both English and Mathematics and then discovered her true calling - teaching music. Her ensuing Psychology degree gave her some insight into the varied ways in which different people learn, and she enjoys the challenge of figuring out what works best for different students. LUCA (Studio in Manly)

Guitar

Luca has been playing guitar for the last 20 years in different bands ranging from Rock to Pop, to Samba, to Classical, to Jazz. He has been studying music for the last 15 years, mainly learning electric guitar, but also acoustic and nylon guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, piano, percussion, and many other musically relevant skills. Starting studying at an adult age allowed him to experiment with the best ways to quickly learn theoretical concepts. He could then apply these ideas in teaching guitar for the last 10 years to all ages, focusing on fun practice to explain many useful notions. His idea of teaching has three main roots: to play in as many bands, gigs, and concerts as possible; to constantly be a student himself; to keep learning bits of every other instrument.
